I am doing three conventions next year....three!! I think it's fair to say that I'm now officially a geek. *polishes badge with pride*

Two Supernatural ones, Asylum and Roadhouse. One Leverage, Concon. The one I'm most excited about? Leverage...I've kinda lost the love for Supernatural, but both cons are over here, I always said that Asylum 4 would be my last Rogue event. Showmasters did Collectormania, and all 5 of us were really impressed with them. So now they are doing a Supernatural convention, and you get reserved seats!! So it had to be done. And damn, any excuse to the see the girlies!!

Wow, what a blast!! Totally different to Asylum and Salute to SPN ie no disorganisation or military run lines. It was chilled, relaxed, the staff were professional but friendly...the guests were SO relaxed. I queued for maybe *thinks* 3 mins for Misha's autograph lol! The man recognised me....this kinda creeps me out, cos it either means I'm stalkerish...or he obviously wants to have my babies pmsl!

The two photographers made having our pics taken a really nice experience. The guy welcomed you, counted you in, CHECKED the pic before you went...he actually told me off for not smiling so most pics I had three taken before he got one with me smiling...(come on guys, you ever had that experience with a photographer????) The girl, was very patient with John Rhys-Davis who was tickling every female and shaking hands with every male. Most of you guys know that I think the Creation photographer SUCKS big time....and the Asylum one, who normally is fab, well some of my pics this year were really dark.

It was just a really grand day you know? Friends, good times, laughter, Misha, Julie, John, Katherine, Bronson.

Went to a Murder Mystery Dinner on Halloween. Man, it was fab!! It was a black tie affair so everyone looked really smart (I have photos but who knows if I will ever get my butt in gear and post them lol!). The actors were really great and had a wonderful sense of humour *gives 'that' look to husband* and managed to laugh at the heckling that was coming from the direction of our table.

BUT..the main thing is *waves hands excitedly* we won!!!!! We all wrote down who we thought the murderer was and why, and it was narrowed down to Mo and I. We put our points across as to why we had chosen who we had and for some, strange reason they went with me! I wrote something stupid too in the reason of the motive and because of that we came bloody first!!!

Obviously I have been unbearable ever since...*shows no shame* Just call me Sherlock *waggles one eyebrow*

Texas...not Mel. Cos yea....Mel and I have issues....BIG issues......*narrow eyes* hell yea I have issues with you, let's put aside the dregs of the bread and the dregs of the marg.....I can't move past the "let's see how fast I can go....".

We had a bloody ball in Texas, considering Mel was worried that we would be bored.....and there was also the change of dynamics. It's normally us with the girlies, doing Supernatural stuff, this was a family holiday, husbands were involved.

Well the husbands bonded over beer (discussing and drinking) and darts. The kids eyed us warily, but towards the end of the week they realised we were quite ok, and they were just so funny and cute. Mel and I...well same as ever....insulting, laughing, oh hell lots of laughing.

I've got some fabs pics....yes, I've even got ones of us watching MBV....I've gotten her into Leverage...and it was really sad to say goodbye.

Though it pains me greatly to say this, I do miss her....it's horrid being back at work, when this time last week, we were off for a day of learning and laughter.

Three days til we fly to Texas. I'll be honest with y'all (check me out with my accent), last week has got to have been one of the worst weeks ever. Fortunately, the sun has come out again (can I get some whoops??) and I'm starting to get into the holiday mood.

I was thinking, normally Mel would post to her LJ, her concerns about sharing her house and family with a SPN fan and her husband. But she can't cos I will see it....*sniggers*

We're going to San Antonio at the weekend, and she's taking us to NASA, and we're watching MBV together...(yep, promise to get lots of pics of her in the silly glasses *nods*). I know the time is gonna fly by so I'm gonna try and make the most of it.

Just booked the tickets for this as well as photo shoots with Misha. It's a trip on the tube so how could we not go? Well it's a trip on the tube for me.

Also booked myself a photo with Gimli and truth be known? *whispers* I think I'm more excited about that! Besides the husband virtually ordered me to get my pic taken with him...not that he's a massive LOTR fan in any way shape or form!!

Now...you guys *looks at flist* yea, you lot....how comes I've not watched this before...*thinks* oh yea, some of you mentioned at LA about how good this was *waves hand* but...other stuff was going on.....

Sharon *hugs Sharon against her will* very kindly 'sent' the first season over to me on Friday. I am SO seriously hooked it's not funny.

And Christian Kane...oh sweet lordy....why oh why..have I only just discovered him???

Since LA and Asylum...some of the Superntural magic has gone for me *looks sad* I wish it hadn't but it has, and there's this big gaping whole now...but Leverage has more than filled it.

Characters? Where do I start? The ever so slightly insane Parker, the cute but funny Hardison, the oh my god he's so hot Eliot, and is he going to go over the edge Nate? Now those of you who know Leverage will be wondering why I've left Sophie off the list. My husband also really likes the show and he wondered outloud as to how many people may think that her accent is fake. Her English accent that is. Trust me people, it's not lol! And to see the weird Jane from Coupling in this show really tickled him. I don't have a fav character, they all bring something to the table, and this show had me hooked from the first 15 minutes.

I never thought another show would capture me the way Supernatural did, oh how wrong I was....

Well according to our gov's new website, I have Swine Flu. *snorts* If I had flu, I wouldn't be able to sit up in bed, let alone be at work.

I KNOW I've just got a cold that's making me sound like a bloke.....I don't have flu, I've had flu maybe twice in my life and it's pretty bloody shitty.

I finally bought myself a pair of black linen trousers. Yea, yea I know...late to the party as per usual, but I have an issue with my thighs...I don't like them and they don't like me.

God, so comfy and looked fab....for the first 3 hours....and then....*looks horrified* they took a life of their own and just expanded.

I'm off to get myself another pair in a smaller size cos I could barely keep them up by the end of the day and seriously....back end of a bus really applied.

I've also bought myself a dress *winces* I haven't worn a dress since I got married...but Texas is gonna be hot, hot, hot....and I fancied a dress. Apparently it looks really 'nice' but I'm not so sure....*pulls face*

And don't even GET me started on swim suits. I've tried tankini's, all in ones, all looked fab, apart from being baggy (must remember I've lost weight) apart from the top half. Swim suit makers, some of us girls out here are normal size but with a little more up top, make something that doesn't make us look like Whiplash Wanda on a bad day.

Holy moly! We're simply not equipped for this heat and yea, yea, I know some of you experience a lot higher temps that we are at the moment...but wow...it's hot and super hot when you're in a small office with no air con and it's like 33 out there lol!

And had his Harley ride....I promise I will post some pics....the bike was FANTASTIC!! He now wants to get his bike license although he has wanted to get one for years now. But he's gonna do it next year and then hopefully get himself a bike. We shall see.

Was wonderful to see the girls as always, And found it highly amusing as we pondered what could happen next season, it got very indepth and I swear his eyes glazed over at least twice pmsl!

Firstly a big thank you for the hugs and kind wishes after I posted my woe is me post. They've been much appreciated.

Andrew has his Harley ride on Sunday in Sidcup (this is the equivalent of me driving up to Brum again). Obviously I want to see him in his motorbike jacket (yep, he gets one to borrow) on a Harley, cos he's always wanted a Harley. But what the hell do I do with myself for 3ish hours on my own?

That's where the wonder of SPN comes in. Not only am I meeting up with Debs and Jacs *fists air* (bonus, it's normally only Asylum and other rare ocassions that I get to see these guys) but Sharon too. This lady we met in the queue that we were queuing for (you still with me?). We've emailed pretty much every day since Asylum...stupid emails that make no sense to anyone else but make me laugh, you know? And I really looking forward to seeing her again.

I would never have met her, Debs, Jacs or Sarah, or hell...a lot of you guys on my flist (though some of you are no doubt cursing SPN when you think of me) if it hadn't been for this show that no one I know in my RL apart from my husband watches.

Wow. It never fails to amaze me. I would say 'awesome' but you know I hate that word. So I will settle for wow.

Why does everything have to hit the fan all at once?

I've got stuff going on with my parents...mainly my dad....I hate it how the roles have reversed and now it's me looking after them and going to Drs appts with them.

Holly our gorgeous dog is poorly, has been since a week on Friday, 4 vets vists later, she's now going for x-rays today...which means they'll drug her and stuff. Thank god we've got insurance, cos we're down about £700 at the moment. It's horrid seeing her off her food and quite down.

Me...I'm really out of sorts...constant headache, earache, off my food (got to be somethign major for THAT to happen).

I just want a time out right now...

Oh yea, I'm a right whiney bitch right now too...didn't you guess? Lol!

For scheduling SPN to return on 10th September. This means I get to watch the Season premiere with a fellow (slightly strange and weird) Supernatural fan, in Texas!!

The bad side is, we never agree on any episode *coughs* Bloodlust *cough so that's gonna be interesting....I think I'm probably a lot more lenient than she is, more forgiving....but timewise, it's just goddam perfect!

Oh and I've been advised to leave Hell at home...wtf? Who leaves Hell at home...I always have to take him with me....

It's been a few days now since the weekend, and I'm finally managing to pack up the stuff I hated and put it in a box. The bad stuff is also beginning to blur around the edges too...yea, a lot of the problems were down to Rogue, but couple that with two guys who are only there for the money....it's a recipe for disaster.

I've dared not venture out into the fandom because WTF?? Bitchiness and rumours and voodoo dolls of the boys girlfriends....I tell ya, it scares me, it really does.

Though on the plus side....you guys...I would never have met any of you if it wasn't for this two headed dog we call fandom.

But man...there are some KNOBS of posts out there at the moment...I swear...they made my eyes bleed.

I will scan in my pics and I will post pics of me in my fancy dress, though...I was pretty drunk so I'll post a warning before you see them...

Knowing me as some as you do....and my OCD tendancies when it comes to sorting stuff for trips and that.....well am I ready for Asylum? *raises one eyebrow* nuff said really.

My partner in crime, Sal, is now coming over at lunchtime on Thursday, this is the woman that really isn't all that into Supernatural, but comes with me (this is her 3rd convention), not only to get away from the kids and family for the weekend, but also to try and embarrass me as much as she possibly can. Her fancy dress for the Saturday night, is Slut of the Dead I believe *sniggers* her words, NOT mine...

I've got a bottle of red, half a bottle of Gordon's and a bottle of slimeline tonic....oh and packet of jaffa cakes, so yea, food and drink wise I am so sorted!! Prices at the Hilton are shittingly expensive for drinks...but must remember not to get too wasted (ie, only have one drink and not two, cos I am such a lightweight) cos I really do not want to smell like a boozehound when I get my J2 photo and autos on the Friday. I want to make an impression, but not that kind of impression.

Only two and a half more days at work and then FREEDOM!!!!!

Yea, I'm a little heady at the thought of meeting the boys again...what of it?

So please, please, please, let me know what your fav ones are....I would truly be grateful...and promise faithfully to post photos of me in my fancy dress outfit if you do lol! How's that for a bribe? You can print the photos off and use them as target practise.

Can't believe that Asylum is next week, holy moly that has come around so quickly. I will book for next year, but think that will be my last convention tbh. Will be very weird, not having conventions to book and look forward too...but life always moves on....
